Hey congratulations for having your dream fulfilled.
i have a confusion -in quora some x students say really harsh truth like it's a trap.Your professor holds you even when your phd thesis is almost complete to do his work done by you, teaching students, write his project proposal, copy check, even their personal work.They can't tolerate you enjoying or chilling and even comment on your personal life.They treat you like their slave.After all his work done by you they told you like you are incompetent to do your phd as there is no growth.sometimes it is 8years..even in brochure it says 3-8years.I wanted a phd from iit but these things are horrifying.this are for old iits.
can you please tell me what's the truth?Is a situation like this still there?
