1:26 - This works great at removing a very laggy xbox game bar, as it solely removes junk files and logs that are created over time, If you clear the data about once a month (maybe more depending on how much you use the xbox game bar) you should be fine and encounter no issues!

And guys if the xbox Gamer bar not showing in installed apps then scroll down and click on System Components and u see the xbox game bar

You cant find Xbox gamebar in apps & features anymore, Its been relocated to Settings > System > System Components > Game Bar instead of apps> apps & features / installed apps > game bar hope this helps!

Also adjusting the power consumption for the background process is a big thing. Anything thats not set to performance mode get seriously degraded performance

Also, reseting game bar does remove al of your preferences. So if anybody has a specific layout they use... they will lose it

*REPAIRING AND RESETING XBOX GAME BAR IS NOT THE FIX.* The fix is letting Xbox Game Bar run in the background at all times. This is the way I've always used the app, and the way it was intended to be used. There is no need to clear data or repair the software to fix any sort of sluggishness, because the usage efficiency of the app is based on how your computer handles the process in real time. Yes, running the app at all times does consume RAM and other resources, but it's worth it for the consistent responsiveness and convenience, given that the toll on performance is negligible.

In the same directory as demonstrated in the video, under "Background App Permissions, " set Xbox Game Bar to "Let this App Run in the Background: Always".

Thank you so much for that; I've been having stuttering in games and damn does it lag and makes games stutter even worse when I take a screenshot with it. I had around 11MB on the app, so I reset & repaired. Seems more fluid now. Let's hope it's all better now!

Tried it all and it’s still not working. It runs decent when I first start it but then after a few minutes makes my computer freeze to the point where I have to hold down on the power button to turn it off because the computer will still be frozen 10 minutes after I hit alt+ctrl+delete

I found out that if I have instant Nvidia replay running on it lags the gamebar makes it almost unusable

I had 70.8mb of data on the game bar app
no wonder it wouldn't open as fast

I don't see "Apps and features" on Windows 11, whenever I go to Apps on Settings, and I tried searching it up but it's still not there. What do you suggest?
