जब गेंद युवराज सिंह के बल्ले से टकराती थी तो जो आवाज आती थी, वह इतनी आश्चर्यजनक होती थी मानो कानों के लिए इससे बेहतर सुनने के लिए कुछ हो ही नहीं सकता। युवराज सिंह भारतीय क्रिकेट इतिहास के सबसे महान और सबसे बड़े मैच विनर हैं। एक महान स्टाइलिश, क्लासिकल बल्लेबाज, एक महान क्षेत्ररक्षक और एक अच्छा उपयोगी गेंदबाज। मैच जीतने की क्षमता के लिए पूरी तरह से सम्पूर्ण खिलाड़ी। एक खिलाड़ी जिसने भारतीय क्रिकेट के स्तर और दिशा को बदल दिया। युवी ने भारतीय क्रिकेट में एक अलग अंदाज और आक्रामकता लाई। मैं दावे के साथ कहता हूं कि अगर युवराज सिंह को कैंसर जैसी घातक बीमारी नहीं होती तो अंतरराष्ट्रीय वनडे क्रिकेट में सचिन तेंदुलकर के बाद युवराज सिंह का ही नाम आता क्योंकि उन्होंने 29 साल की उम्र में 8000 रन बनाए थे। कैंसर और गंदी राजनीति ने उनके सुनहरे करियर को तबाह कर दिया। हो सकता है कि ऐसे कुछ खिलाड़ी हों जिनका रिकॉर्ड सिर्फ कागजों पर ही युवराज सिंह से बेहतर हो, लेकिन युवराज सिंह जैसा खिलाड़ी नहीं, क्योंकि युवराज सिंह का प्रभाव अद्भुत और अविश्वसनीय है। वह गेंद के सबसे प्यारे, साफ-सुथरे स्ट्राइकर हैं । युवराज सिंह विश्व क्रिकेट के सबसे सुंदर बल्लेबाजो मे से एक है। युवराज सिंह वो शख्स थे जिसने मोहम्मद कैफ की कप्तानी में भी अंडर 19 विश्व कप टूर्नामेंट में भारत को 1999-2000 में अंडर 19 विश्व कप जीताया था और मैन ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट रहे थे । युवराज सिंह ने 2000 में चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में उस समय की ऑस्ट्रेलियाई टीम के खिलाफ अपने करियर की पहली पारी में सचिन तेंदुलकर, सौरव गांगुली के आउट होने के बाद मैक्ग्रा, ब्रेट ली जैसे खतरनाक गेंदबाजों का सामना करते हुए 84 रन बनाए थे। जब भारत ने पहली बार इंग्लैंड की धरती पर सीरीज जीती थी तो नेटवेस्ट सीरीज का फाइनल भी कैफ के साथ युवराज ने जीताया था। जब 2002 में भारत ने चैंपियनशिप ट्रॉफी जीती, तो युवराज ने पूरे टूर्नामेंट में बल्लेबाजी, गेंदबाजी और क्षेत्ररक्षण में अद्भुत प्रदर्शन किया। 2006-7 में जब राहुल द्रविड़ की कप्तानी में भारत ने लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुए 16-17 मैच जीतने का रिकॉर्ड बनाया था, तब युवराज सिंह उन 17 मैचों में से 11 मैचों में मैन ऑफ द मैच रहे थे। 2007 टी20 वर्ल्ड कप जिताने में युवराज सिंह का योगदान सबसे अहम था। 2011 विश्व कप जीताने मे भी युवराज सिंह का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण योगदान था और मैन ऑफ द टूर्नामेंट बने थे।युवराज सिंह ने मोहम्मद कैफ के साथ मिलकर भारतीय फील्डिंग का स्तर बदल दिया था । आज भी सच्चे और दिल से क्रिकेट को पसंद करने वाले को ग्राउंड पर चैंपियन युवराज सिंह की याद आती है।

Ipl is clsssic example, noone was there to cut short yuvi captaincy/legacy/career with punjab kings but he couldn't excel or create the legacy!!!!

A real cricket og will never forget who was the actual hero of both t20 & 2011 world cups. Bande ne cancer me mooh se khoon nikal rha he and still played insane. Bhai yuvi jaisa player koi nahi aaya abhi tak to . Jis efficiency se vo 6 marta tha never seen anyone hit like that pure timing the only guy little bit close to him who hit 6 just on pure timing is Rohit.
But yuvi is legend and nobody will forget that

Coming to yuvraj, he stopped batting properly after 2011 WC. He should be blamed for getting dropped. No one can forget that inning in WC final. Most of the legend of WC2011 stopped performing, It was the time when Dhoni suddenly started making runs, I remember India's ODI tour of England in 2011, where Dhoni was MOS. However, Dhoni wasn't always in form. But was never dropped.
