Have you ever used Zopiclone for insomnia? What was your experience like with it?

Is it normal to experience severe insomnia when tapering off this drug? Can it permanently change sleep patterns or cause brain damage when used for long periods of time (years)?

I have such bad insomnia, I’ve had it since I was 14 when my Anxiety and depression started. My first counselling session I was prescribed melatonin which did nothing, then promethazine...I began taking seizures 3 weeks after this and was diagnosed with epilepsy...while I was in hospital I was given Zopiclone then finally zolpidem. I was with different counselling services over the past 4yrs...my own GP will not prescribe me sleeping tablets only short term- 6days. After those 6 days my insomnia gets so bad to the point I stay up for 2days straight then go to uni then do a shift, and due to the exhaustion my seizures are triggered. Sorry for the long comment. Sleeping tablets have saved me but I am pissed I was given them at a young age were now I am dependent.

Works fine in regards to falling asleep for me, but I still wake up 3-4 times a night. I do not recommend it for long time use, I got quite confused as to which day what happened when on it for about 3 months. Some time perception issues I guess. But for falling asleep, it worked almost every time.

It helps me with anxiety i take it at day. Works alot like valium, hate the taste tho.

I have Zopiclone on my repeat prescription. My Chemist told me today they have not got any now and do not know when they will get more. Where can I get some?

It's good that you're doing these videoes but the audio is pretty bad. Get a microphone, a pop filter and a soundcard. (The difference between your intro and video was very noticeable.)

I’m prescribed Zolpidem 5mg as needed. I’ve been trying to figure out whether Zoplicone is a “safer” medication. And what it’s effects are. Zolpidem made me sleep walk in the beginning. But I learned to take it as soon as I am in bed with my eyes closed. Is it worth asking my doctor to switch? Zolpidem only helps me sleep for about 3-4 hours. But because of my job, I need to take it to force myself to sleep (flight Attendant). What would you suggest? Thank you for the only informational video on this medication.

Hey how bad is this drug really? I have sleep apnea and I take 7.5 of this and 25mg of seroquel and I'm still a zombie I have no energy and I'm always spaced out .dizzy and out of it .it can no be good long term what are the really dangers of it I have a bad memory to when I take it .should I just go cold Turkey i cant take it i dont exercise cuase i feel so spaced out .any advice?

Can you please explain why zopiclone works for me at very high doses but lorazepam doesn't cause ANY sedation no benzo does? And like I mean they both work on GABA and bind to the benzo receptors? Honestly so confused

Zoipclone stopped working for sleep but I use it for anxiety or use it help withdrawal from alcohol

I've been prescribed zopiclone for 7 years. Doesn't work anymore. Tried zolpidem but that made me aggressive?? Why??

I’ve had no bad taste at all ? Just a tablet form ? It’s help me a lot been getting full nights sleep but I know it won’t last as the doctor told me after2 weeks your body gets used to them and will stop working 🙁which a shame as I don’t feel drowsy or any side effects after using them xx

How long does it take to work for you after you’ve taken it? I took 10mg an hour ago and all I feel is a tiny bit out of it..

My doctor has me prescribed 14mg of zopiclone a night for sleep. Ive been taking it for about 4 months now. Should I be worried?
