How to Control ONLY YOUR player in Madden 22 Franchise Mode (Player Lock)

i wanna know how to lock on to one player, like face of franchise mode, jus play the player you picked not play quarterback and throw it to the wide receiver you made, can you do that or would i have to play face of franchise for that result ?
