this episode (Out of Sight) has a lot of mistakes
1- they show the MD-80, but it was actually a DC-9-30
2-the color of Piper N4891F was not Green, Blue, White, it was actually white with yellow lines
3-during the uncontrollable descent of Flight 498 you will clearly see the name of the plane, it is written LEON, in fact the XA-JED was called HERMOSILLO, put slow motion at 0:37 minutes, and put the video at 1080, you'll see the name LEON
4-at the same moment that the fake XA-JED was plummeting to the ground, it is turning to the left side, but when it hits the ground it appears turning to the right side.
but ACI's animation has improved over the years, animation has improved a lot from season 12 onwards .

In Mexico Flight 498 was a beautiful day when the two planes collided it's unbelievable that the tower control didn't tell them there was another plan ahead of them after that the collided the beach craft strike the dc9s tail it's unbelievable but right guys

Fun fact: this crash inspired the one in Breaking Bad. Unbeknownst to the writers and creators, the air traffic controller on duty that day was named Walter White.

for those wondering what happened to the piper plane after colliding with the DC-9's tail, not a fun fact but i will share it anyways:
when the piper crashed into the DC-9's vertical stabilizer, it destroyed the front cockpit of the plane, which resulted in the decapitation of the people on board it. it fell from the sky, not being controlled by anyone, and crashed into a playground at an elementary school.
