It's funny to me how different all these names sound but then just translate to "more lizard". Like the scientists got bored of all these big lizards and just were like "eeeh ... more lizard".

Why is it still at 38 years old I can't hear Liopleurodon without instantly hearing it said in the guys from Charlie the Unicorn voices. "It's a Liopleurodon Charlie! A magical Liopleurodon!"

I find it funny that people were disappointed when Liopluerodon from Walking With Dinosaurs was smaller than they thought, and then that was when Predator X, aka Pliosaurus funkei, was found and basically revived those dreams of a giant pliosaur that terrorized the oceans. Funny how paleontology works.

(P.S I know about Sachiasaurus and how it’s larger than Predator X, but I was just referencing the media attention Pliosaurus funkei got from it was called Predator X.)

The new actual size of the liopleurodon never gets any easier to hear, despite me knowing about it for years now. That was my favourite episode of Walking With Dinosaurs when I was a kid, and I have a very vivid memory of watching it on vhs while suffering from chicken pox lol.

This is proof that a fear of the ocean isn’t irrational

It's crazy how small liopleurodon is now compared to the old documentary estimate

The Great White Shark is without a doubt more intelligent than its cousin the Mako. GWS can be likened to Poodle intelligence, a special fish, set apart from the rest. Interesting to note that most all fish have doglike intelligence. When I had a huge saltwater reef tank, they grew to remember me and beg for food, but when a stranger entered the room, they would all dart behind the corals and peer out at the strange human

Marine crocodiles (Thalattosuchians) deserve their own video. I think they are underrated.

I still won't forget the Predator X vs. Megalogon videos

These monsters didn't even have to be the biggest of the bunch to be terrifying. Anything with a head roughly the size of a human is nightmare fuel.
