Consider the following scenario: a highly infectious, sometimes deadly respiratory virus infects humans for the first time. It spreads rapidly worldwide, and the WHO declares a pandemic. The death toll starts to rise and everyone is asking the same question: when will the pandemic end? 9th grade - the last grade of elementary school in my country. We were all fighting to better our grades and to spend as much time as we can with our friends. The first news of the virus were from china, nothing crazy I thought, no way it would come this far. A few weeks later, we were going on an early spring break because of covid19 - we were all so happy we got more vacation days, however we didn't realise the last day when we would see eachother in our classroom already passed. The 'spring break' quicky turned into 'online school', and that quickly turned into graduating. We didn't have a prom, but we at least organised a get-together instead. It's funny, because I've been planning to confess to my crush on prom for 2 years😂
