I think you mentioned it in the other video and you can see it here at 1:37 but I wish ebay would fix the way that people can list items with various prices. It defeats the "lowest price + shipping" when they list an $1 accessory in with the $20+ item just so they are at the top of the by price results. Quite often the cheapest option is hard to hunt down.

One of the most powerful aspects of the eBay search engine is its facility to use Boolean terms, especially the ability to *exclude* search terms.

For the NOT function, simply put a minus sign in front of terms you want to exclude. For the AND function, put all of the AND-ed terms within parentheses, separated by commas (no spaces). For literal search terms containing more than one word, put them in qoutes.

For example, say you wanted to search for blue cat houses made of wood or metal, but the search keeps turning up collars, tags, scratching posts and plastic houses. Your adjusted search would look like this: blue (wood, metal) "cat house" -(collar, tag, "scratching post").

You missed a big one here. eBay supports advanced search attributes that makes it very easy to filter results. For example, if you put a minus in front of a word, you will exclude all results with that word. A more advanced search would look something like "(step up, boost) (step down, buck) converter" This will search for items that use buck or step down, and boost or step up converters. It's extremely useful for removing unwanted items. Another example: "(19v, 20v) laptop power supply (4.5A, 4.6A, 4.7A, 4.8A, 4.9A, 5A, 5.1A, 5.2A, 5.3A, 5.4A, 5.5A, 5.6A, 5.7A, 5.8A, 5.9A, 6A)" This searches for 19v and 20v laptop power supplies with specific amperage ratings.

I got caught out on eBay last year, I tried to purchase some dual banana cables for precision measurements, but the seller set the shipping time as 3 months, which happens to be the expiry time for claims with ebay, thankfully PayPal allow 6 months and so I got a refund from them, just something to watch out for.

I already had the case that an item from Banggood did not arrive and they told me I could not get any refund because I did not pay for shipping insurance. So I asked Paypal for help and the helped me immediately as you also explain in your video. As I’m now writing this comment here I’m sure we’ve talked about that on Twitter a few months ago.
I like Banggood much but often the prices decide for me to use AliExpress. I don’t use eBay a lot in the last months unless I get a coupon (here in Germany we get a 5€ off coupon now and then if we did not order something for a few months). And getting 5€ off a maybe 10€ item helps a lot 😀

The BangGood sent to me from Hong Kong to Canada internally damaged piano. Do you know why they do it?
I would buy the same from any mainland seller without any damage or signs of abuse.

so on banggood you prefer going to paypal for eventual refund and not contact banggood itself? usually they're good in refund, once you share evidence... better using paypal, then?

I've had issues with banggood, and using paypal for payment. For example, I bought my CR-10 from them. It arrived with some damage. They refused to do anything about it, and paypal also would not do anything, as banggood was claiming there was no real damage.

Hi. What currency do you use in your paypal account? in case you buy and pay in another currency, paypall uses the paypall (poor)exchange rate and for a refund paypall uses a much lower exchange rate. I have lost 10 to 20% (AUD to EURO) on the exchange rate lately through cancelled purchases after weeks by the ebay sellers. How would you handle that ?

Ebay has proven it's usefullness to me, especially for used items or replacement parts, but banggood, not so much. The ready to use modules are probably fine, but all the items such as components and especially wire are extreem low quality in my experience. gearbest on the other hand seems to have a good support system, but I haven't tried buying wire there. The main selling point why I used those webshops however, is that they accept paypal

I hate it on ebay when a search doesn't have enough results to fill a page, because the sorting option box disappears and the items can't be sorted.
I've 5 lost items on ebay this year, which is a lot because I've only had 13 lost orders in the last 4 years, and I don't buy much anymore.

The thing that annoys me the most about banggood is disputes. In Ali it is easy to do. With banggood you have to contact an agent which can take a long time.

Great suggestions. I did not know that you could use PayPal on Banggood. Thank you.

Keep in mind PayPal isn't exactly famous for a their customer support. I know several cases, where users accounts where closed after they used PayPals protection. While you will get your account back you might loose your account...

I lately ordered twice from Bangood. At around $5 or $6, shipping charges to Mexico were reasonable and the delay claimed to be 6 to 10 days. In both cases they took 2 to 3 weeks to PROCESS the order, real shipping time was then no less than a month, on par with other platforms that claimed this as their real time.
And they are liers with their review: strangely critics and bad experiences, when not plainly eliminated, show up as 5 stars!
