Why didn't Voldemort use the Killing Curse on Snape in Harry Potter? There are many possibilities as to why he did that, but for me, I think One reason is that Voldemort believed the Elder Wand belonged to Snape because Snape killed its previous owner, Dumbledore. Voldemort was hesitant to use the wand, fearing it could backfire on him. So he had to kill Snape but not directly by his wand.

Til this day, the way Voldemort stared Snape down scares me, it’s like Voldemort could read straight through Snape and was finally done using him

One: the whole REASON he killed Snape was for the wand.
Two: he’s a book character and J.K needed Snape to die slow so he could give Harry his memories

explanation is simple: snape shouldnt be dead and needs some time to tell harry to take the tears. it doesnt make sense but its a movie in the end :)

I just assumed that he really didn't want to kill Snape, and since the killing curse need intent to kill voldy knew it wouldn't work.

So, what was Voldemort's plan regarding the Elder Wand? Did he intend to give it to Nagini by having her kill Snape? Although Nagini had a piece of Voldemort's soul inside her, it wouldn't matter in terms of the wand's loyalty, would it? If it did matter, then Voldemort could have become the wand's true owner as soon as Harry, who also had a piece of Voldemort's soul within him, became the wand's master by disarming Draco. This would have meant that Voldemort would never have realized that the wand wasn't loyal to him until he killed Harry, since he only discovered its true loyalty when he attempted to destroy the protection surrounding Hogwarts (which he succeeded in doing, by the way).

Sooo...if Nagini is a person, does that mean Nagini is the owner of the Elder wand, which means that NEVILLE is the owner of the Elder wand??

I think it's because he has always feared straight up dying more than anythig so he maybe saw is at a sort of mercy to let him die slow. Weird t

Well he could have just used his actual wand right? He still had his Phoenix feather wand as far as I know. He was probably reluctant to use the elder wand because he felt it still resisting him but I think there just wasn't a particular reason for not just offing Snape with his own wand.
Maybe it was because he was convinced that Snape was loyal and thought it was a shame he had to kill him (not remorse but more like "shame, I always need loyal servants" kinda way) and he wouldn't mean it? Seems a little far fetches tho, I think when it comes to attaining power he would do anything and mean it.
Still fun theorizing abt it:)

I agree with you, but what are the other options ?

So nagini would have been the true master (assuming snape was the previous one)?
