Greatest advantage to me and only best reason is that it puts a lot less stress on the charging port.

I've seen a number of these videos reviewing and always talk about reason for using magnetic adapters, and not one of them including you mention this.... besides the phone screen, the most vulnerable part of a phone for damage is the charge port. With normal use, even on better phones, the charge port begins to wear out, the internal welding loosens, loosing contact to the main board of the phone. .. and the only real way to repair is to to have a new charge port welded to the board, which would cost about the same amount as a new phone. So, the point here is to reduce the in and out use on that port, and magnetic adapters are the answer.

If your someone who buys a new phone every year, you probably haven't lost conectivity. on your phones port, but for the rest of us after about 2 years of plugging and unplugging your phone, the port looses conectivity and eventually you end up wrapping the cable around the phone just to get it to charge. Eventually the phone won't charge at all.
Magnetic ports eliminate that problem because you LEAVE THE NUB in your phone. The magnetic nub also keeps the port from getting clogged up with debris.

They say that always use the charger that came with the phone. Have you had any problems with charging or problems with Ur battery since using the magnetic charger?

I'm using an old s7 and the charge port is failing.
I ordered a wireless charger for now but planning on having the phone fully repaired soon.

Since the camera is so nice for YouTube (camera focus and stabilizer is best in its price point) and the phone has expandable memory via sd cards I want it to last.

I just ordered this, my main charging cable has stopped working correctly and won't fast charge so I'm using my Oculus Link cable until I get a new one but I'm worried that the same thing could happen to my other cable and I've always thought about getting a magnetic cable, thanks.
