VLOG #48: Quitting YouTube? Heart to Heart | fayesfix

Over the last 6 months to a year I've struggled to upload regularly to my channel. I decided to have a lil chat with you about everything and about where I see my channel going. Hope you don't mind me rattling on- I just wanted to be honest and get it all out! I had a lovely weekend which I wanted to share with you too- the sun came out and it was great! I think you may be surprised at how many people would appreciate videos that seem "normal" and maybe not as beauty related as before. As much as I enjoy watching full time youtubers vlog about waking up, going to the gym and shopping (absolutely nothing wrong with that), I way prefer your videos as I just feel like they're more relatable and suited to my age range - things like food shopping, working a 9 to 5 job and buying a house are just things more relevant to me now. Would love to see more :)

for me its nice to have someone relatable. I love the consumer side of youtube, the hauls and reviews but tbh I'm in the same situation as you. My income has to be considered and thought out. it's nice to have someone to evolve with. Maybe what would be cool would be a comparison video, so you could ask yourself questions and consider how answers have changed over time.
Also I love that you are an avid cinema goer, maybe reviews?

I love watching your videos because they are so relatable...whether they are vlogs...chatty videos....more traditional sit down hauls or favourites...whatever! They come across more like a friend having a little chat with you and sharing part of their life. If you don't have time to stick to a schedule....I get it. I work full-time+ hours...am saving for a house...and somehow try to make time for myself to chill and have fun. I can't even imagine trying to stick in a filming and editing schedule. Make videos when you have time and when you have the desire to...those are the best videos because they are the most natural and fun! Although...I do love whenever you mention books you're reading. Lol! I always add them to my TBR. 😀

I think i started watching you just after you started because i find you via your diy ombre hair videos. I like all the content you create because you have a genuine, calm and cute personality. I like your travel vlogs, daily home bits that you shared with us, cooking, cleaning, especially videos with your dad :) etc. It's nice to watch a normal person who does not make money from youtube or going events to events (or travel) all the time. You can make content about your home buying journey, how will you decorate when you buy it, your no make up favorites time to time which can be films, movies, items, apps etc. Career videos would be fine as well but as a person who already have a career i think i wont be interested on them :)
