Thanks for the video, we had just purchased one from you about a month or two ago.  We have it in a pot now but want to find it a permanent home.  Will you be doing a video this fall on cutting it back and mulching it up?  I would be interested in where to cut etc.  I did not realize the bananas were inedible, dang, was looking forward to having some home grown bananas.

I’m also in NE CT and think these would be a great to make a backyard oasis. Curious, how long will it take to grow to a decent height (like 6-8ft)? By July?

you said that sometimes in extremely cold winters with no snow the plants will die all the way to the ground but the bulb is still alive 5 or 6" deep.... what do you do with the dead parts above the ground? Cut them to the ground I would imagine? Do you leave the cut area exposed to air (cut just above ground level) or cut it right at ground level? Thanks

What happen when my new shoot broke by accident when i'm unwrapping my bananas will it still grow back?

I uncovered mine and two are growing good however I have one that looks almost like it was burnt and not growing good at all! Any ideas?

I think I know why my banana trees are so short, I cut them too low in the Fall. My neighbor's banana tree is taller than me! Mine is only a little over a foot high, and it's July.
