could you help me? This never works for me. Every time I use a generator on ANYTHING on that website it just gives me an error in Minecraft, saying the command is

Here's the command in the command block, because the potion generator is confusing (at least for me. also, if you see #, that means just put any number, and the "name" can be whatever):
/give @s minecraft:splash_potion{CustomPotionEffects:[{Id:#, Duration:#}], CustomPotionColor:#, display:{Name:"\"name\""}}

how do i make it a different effect cause u only showed how to make the haste potion or am i being dumb and u can just change it really easily (please reply to this comment i actaully really need to know)

All this time I had no idea what to do and you are telling me that I have to use numerical ids instead of names? Didn't they change numericals to names to avoiud confusion? Why leave numeric ids in that one instance?
