Surprised to hear the powers were molecular arrangements and electro magnetic barriers, I just assumed everything was due to just telekinesis. Great video as always!

I consider Chronicle to be a underrated classic that does not get enough love and attention. Really hard to believe that just about to become 10 years old.

I love the detail of Andrew being killed by a spear, he calls himself the Apex Predator, and throughout history all top predators were always eventually taken out by man, and their tools, so just like the ones before him, he is slain like common prey.

Andrew snapping in the hospital scene wasn't just due to his mother dying. It was also the fact that his sub-human trash father literally blamed Andrew for his mother's death, demanding an apology from him.

I loved this movie back then, and now that I’m older and watching it, it’s 20x better for some reason. It was a realistic take on how teenagers would act with super powers.

The deeper lore of this movie makes it even more interesting. Glad this still has a cult following, sadly didn't get more.

I mean the powers were cute but I really liked this movie for the friendship between the 3 and an exploration of what happens when a wounded person goes on a power trip. When you've been powerless all your life even a little bit of power can be addictive and I think Andrew's fall was pretty believable

The casting for this movie was perfect.

I freaking loved this movie. As someone who was a fan of Heroes, and has long heralded telekinesis as one of the greatest super powers, this movie truly stretched the limits of what was possible… and I loved EVERY second of it. Such an underrated film, imo

This movie was everything i love about hero movies and the "caught on camera" style of filming...all the effects..its sad they will never make a sequel. This is a classic.

You know that MOGO is legitimately more interesting then just some space rock 3 teenagers just so happen to find that gives them telekinetic powers.
Kind of wished the writers could follow up on that aspect. Like we see what would have happened if a MOGO was successful in turning a human into a drone. Maybe going as far as to give the drone powers to make sure they can aquire nutrients for it no matter the obstacle?

Now that you mention it the drone process would make sense as to why they could sense when one of them was in danger.

I really liked this movie. It felt like an unorthodox superhero movie. Just regular guys who have regular lives, relationships, real life problems in a broken home situation facing financial difficulty. It showed what teenage boys would actually wanna do if they had superpowers and slowly learning to use them as they got stronger and stronger. I feel the ending was appropriate too. Like how were you supposed to kill someone who could make himself invulnerable at will? Well..you take him by surprise, against his will, stab him in the back when he least expects it. And finally when Matt just goes off..leaving a hopeful tone to the movie..in a true hero finale, where heroes are not born but forged.

I really wanted a trilogy of this movie and that things didn't turn out the way they did. But hopefully someone will pick it up one of these days

I was surprised by this movie when I first watched it. When I heard about it I was like “It can’t be that good.” but it was. Also it’s free on YouTube if anyone’s interested.

IMHO this movie deserved its sequel, like REALLY deserved it. The amount of untapped potential seems so great and it's a shame it never happened...

I honestly loved the idea of this movie. It was a basic concept with an extreme amount of depth
