I got juked the exact same way. My best friend asked me to go with him to the mosque. I said ok cool. We get there and tells some brothers and the Iman that I wanted to take shahada . I was thinking what?!? I was to embarrassed to leave so I went ahead and did it. Best decision I ever made! All praises due to Allah.
