My relatives from the US gifted me one when I was a kid, back in 1994, brought it to me to my home in the Eastern EU. That was a blast in those times there.
And its still working, after 30 years, without any problems! Once in every year Im cleaning it, checking the battery, and wearing the watch for a few days 😁

Man I had that same watch about 1989 I got for my fifth Birthday, it did come with that watch band with that dim light. Maybe yours did not. Indigo blew my mind when it came out lol. My dad loved them. I just fixed his two timex watches I got him a few years ago, new batteries and bison strap watch bands.

I got one in 92-93 as a 10 year old. Still my favorite non smart-watch and the coolest watch color way of all time.

I had this watch as a kid. You got a deal. It’s hard to find these in good shape. I just bought one off eBay for 90 bucks, but I LOVE it!

After I bought a very old one that barely worked for five Dollars that really never worked and sold it off, I bought a Triathlon Ironman shock. I wear it every day. I think it's superior to the G shock. I then found one at a flea market from about 1996 for also about five Dollars that was just about perfect but a little worn and had a composite metal and rubber bracelet and a safety clasp. That is in my display box!

I love Expedition and Ironman; Whenever I read comments saying not to buy Timex because the module breaks, I realize that they are Casio fans and have never really had one of these; These watches are truly indestructible and stand the test of time perfectly well. And yes Casio is great too but only those of us who have experience with Timex can confirm that they are as good as Casio.
