We all make fashion mistakes that we regret, and even though they can be costly, we can learn a lot from them. In this video, I’m going to share some of the biggest fashion mistakes I made over the years and the ones I regret the most. I hope you can learn from my mistakes so you don't make them too.

I have tried changing my style few times. Three times at least. I wanted to wear more elegant clothes, as I was ageing I wanted to have more sophisticated wardrobe. It didn't work. I was always getting back to my casual, street style. Even though I just turned 50. So I guess my bigger mistake was trying to be someone else instead of being myself. Good thing it was just clothes that I have sold afterwards.

I really appreciate the thing you said at the end. There are so many videos popping on my YT home page regarding fashion and messages what I should or should not wear. Ridiculous. That is why I value your content so much. Thanks for a great work.

First advice is golden. I had a stage where I just wanted to be simple and minimal, but at heart I am a musician and an artist. Eventually I started getting back into graphic tees tho a bit curated and I usually just buy from other artists (not generic mass produced shirts) and getting back into edgier clothing. Sometimes I dress preppy, sometimes a bit edgy. Basically, you can’t box yourself in. Don’t be just “one style.” People are wonderful complex beings so let your clothing be that way as well

The tip about boots and other shoes that aren't sneakers just called me out🤣. I have been sneaker heavy for a couple of years but I realized a few months ago that I need to have some more options for different outfits and occasions as I continue to enhance my style. Thanks for the reminder!

Buying into the advice of wearing according to your age was the worst mistake I made. A full circle and I am back to what I love wearing and it just works (thankfully didn’t take too long to realise). It takes time to fine-tune your style to your shape and overall personality which has got nothing to do with age imo. Great video Harry as always!

I resonate with this video so much. I’ve been a sneakerhead for a while now, but i do like to wear smarter outfits on occasion, but the sneakers didn’t look right with them. And even though a loafer or a boot would look better with the outfit, i would think “no i can’t cuz im into sneakers”. Thanks for this video! Harry, genuinely love your advice and approach to fashion. I was starting to get a bit self-conscious with my wider fits since I'm in my 30's now and all the menswear fashions are talking about how it's only a Gen Z thing but then you said the magic phrase "today is the youngest you will ever be" and boom, complete mindset shift! :)

What I really love about the channels from yourself and James Leung is there's a playfulness, a fun about fashion;l of finding your own style, but also a mindfulness of curating ideas for us to ponder. It's what makes Sunday lunchtimes such a joy to dive into.

As an idea for a future episode .. a short while ago you mentioned the t-shirts from musicians you loved. It would be ace to hear about what the artist means to you, what you like about the t-shirt and how the two intersect. Also of the fashion options you've paired them with.
