Why launch mode on a vehicle like that? Just pull the trigger all the way down? Why is that not as fast as you can go?

I used the Launch mode on my 2023 rxpx, and honestly i couldnt tell a difference between that and just having it on sport mode.... i was expecting to go nose barely got up. I got a better launch with a passenger sittin behind me.... little bit confused.
