Which Capcom Game Deserves The Remake Treatment Next?

Now that Resident Evil 4 Remake is out, what is Capcom cooking up next? I explore the various options Capcom could take. There's a likelihood Dino Crisis might be on it's way, especially with Exoprimal coming out soon! But There's still Resident Evil 5 which could follow after RE 4 Remake. But many fans want Code Veronica Remake to be a thing, but we can't forget about Resident Evil Zero.

I think Code Veronica is important for the community LORE wise and a good indicator on where Capcoms Mindset is at for the future of the franchise. Thats why everyones on edge because if the company is willing to just toss lore into the trash bin, then all we have is an arcade shooter for RES 5...Which is fine ( after all they sold a ton) but its kind of like... what was the point in keeping up with the games if theyre just NOT gonna listen to the people giving them money.

I hit a Like on this! I would like to see Code Veronica remade before RE5, but I’m happy with whatever plans Capcom has. I would also love for Capcom to remake RE1 with a first person perspective. I think that game’s setting is perfect for FPP. Love ya bye!

Even if we got Exo Primal coming soon, I’d still want a Dino Crisis remake. Imagine seeing Regina and all those different dinosaurs with beautiful HD Graphics! 🤩

I think Code Veronica getting a remake is highly requested cause we know they can fix its biggest flaws. I don’t like the original either, but if they can do it over and make it better i’m totally down

Code Veronica will absolutely get a remake. It’s a mainline game according to capcom themselves and Capcom would want to milk young Chris and Wesker as much as possible. RE1 should also get another remake before 5 so we can have a full Chris vs Wesker trilogy. 5 is modern enough so it can wait until games that deserve remakes more get their time in the spotlight. 5 is also the game with all the payoff from the set up in RE1 and CV and it would be extremely unsatisfying to have all that pay off with no proper set up.

A Captain Commando remake but in the style of Double Dragon Neo! We get the classic Commando Team and Metro City rendered in a newly detailed 2.5D art style along with the numerous mutant/cyborg foes they battle throughout the game. Maybe even add full-voiceover interactions between characters and cinematic intros for boss fights. It doesn’t have to be too crazy, but if anyone deserves a polished comeback it’s the OG Capcom mascot himself… 😤

Code Veronica was a big step up when released . It was one of the first games I got on PS2, and has tons of Lore in it. Other remakes, Dino Crisis yes and maybe Omnishua Warlords?

I've never played CV but out of all the RE games i can understand why fans want it. If you only played the numbered entries the leap from Chris in RE1 to 5 is just 😲, Wesker is just back apparently and you go did Claire ever find Chris. Out of all the RE titles this one is in the most need, it's the only one that hasn't gotten an update or came out on more recent platforms but I don't think it'll be next, i'm hoping for a RE1 remake for the 30 year anniversary then CV.

Personally I want an outbreak file 1 & 2 remake then a Code Veronica remake. I say outbreak first because I never got the play the og and I’d also just like for there to be a good multiplayer RE Engine game that I can play with my friends and enjoy with them as well and also I just wanna be able to play as Kevin Ryman in 4K plus there’s so many different possibilities with an outbreak remake for new content like new enemies and new pre existing enemy variants as well as redesigned maps and maybe even some new ones too
