China’s Brand New Submarine Sank

China’s newest nuclear attack submarine sank and Chinese authorities reportedly scrambled to cover it up. The US doesn’t know if it was carrying nuclear fuel but experts say that it likely was. They also say it’s likely that Chinese personnel died in the sub when it sank. China is rapidly building up its navy but if the subs are sinking fresh off the assembly line, that’s gonna delay things. Experts say this is huge and could completely derail Chinese naval production. With one saying “Can you imagine a U.S. nuclear submarine sinking in San Diego and the government hushes it up and doesn’t tell anybody about it? I mean, Holy Cow!” China’s goal is to achieve maritime superiority within the first island chain. The last time another country had naval superiority over it was Japan for like 2 years.
