Search and rescue operations underway to find survivors of Malaysia landslide

Three Singaporeans were among those rescued after a deadly landslide near Malaysia's Genting Highlands. Meanwhile, the search and rescue mission is still ongoing.

Organiser n camp owner lacked n should have their RISKS ASSESSMENT before organising such camp activities, must not take nature for granted that nothing will happen . Should not n must not camp where hill are just near their camping site especially where year end raining season around the corner.

There is no such things called licensed campsite in Malaysia! I hiked for so many years and this is the 1st time I heard illegal campsite! BTW, May i Know what the criteria to make a campsite safe? Do hiking and camping need license after this? Hiking also a very risky activity and does it's need to be licensed as well! Getting permit to hike any mountain doesn't mean it's already a safe hike! This is just a natural tragedy! Landslide in Malaysia is a common things during rainy season at the end of year! Any hiking, camping or outdoor activities should be avoided during rainy season at the end of the year! Places in Highland like Genting and Cameron should be avoided as well...
