I feel like this movie is a matter of taste.

Thats one thing that annoys me most about movies today. Every time a man and a woman spend some time together they always have to have an unnecessary romance.

Also, michelin star restaurant are a HUGE deal. They are really hard to get, the food has to be absolutely brilliant. If anyone ever finds a michelin star restaurant, go in because it could possibly be the best prepared food of your life, but also the most expensive.

I'm late, and I just watched this film yesterday.

The film hits me hard. It's a story of a chef who wants to be a "somebody" after his fall from grace.
I wouldn't say it's a film about food. It's a film about a growing artist, with regrets he has to face and trials he needs to hurdle over.
A story told very intimately about the fears, tenacity, even arrogance of an artist.
I cried a lot of times in this film. Maybe because I can relate personally to the journey he has to go through.


An artist who envisioned and believed his craft to be a critical success, only to receive comments that were not up to his expectations.
Because the word "good" is never enough for an artist. But little does he know that "good" isn't the end of the world.

If you haven't already, you should watch "The Hundred Foot Journey". It is quiet enjoyable movie and it explains cooking process and why some ingredients work better then the others.

Wait a minute, I thought Pacific Rim did have a romance. Just because they didn't kiss and run away together at the end doesn't mean there wasn't a romance. I thought it was implied through the entire movie
