An update 12:30pm UTC, 17 July 24: FUD away, disagree, that's brilliant. Just be open to both sides. I see valid points, as I will cover, but I am far more team Sanctum then not Sanctum.

I am not trying to convince anyone here. Everyone is welcome to sell their sanctum tokens, of course. I do not think it was a perfect plan, but I think it was better than many others I have seen and this will improve crypto if there are more things, so it's very net positive.

For those that say I don't understand, I'm a smart person. I learn every day. I can understand the FUD, but you learn from it. Do as projects tell you to do, help others out. If there is more help, this is way better.

I will give you an example. Kamino has increased their TVL. I would be a top referrer, and educator, on this, but they had no referrals. My capital was minimal, and a whale in 2 weeks would get more points than what I did over 18 months.


This meta is not perfect, but it's a push in the right direction. I'm not ignorant enough to think I would know better, and one thing to do is to consider multiple viewpoints. But, I think they will ship faster than others, and come Jan next year, this will probably be over 70cents a token, maybe even $1.
Then again, will it out perform SOL? I do not know.

If we get a launchpad, better staking yields, gated communities, and an LST powered debit card, then damn son!, that's more than most projects can do in a cycle.

In closing, I do think the allocations of maybe 1 mill, of 500k, and not too many people, that may be a little bit off, from my viewpoint. But, overall I think it did more right, than wrong, by a large amount.

Also, as data changes viewpoints change. I DO NOT think the alpha vault will fill. I think it will touch $3.5 million, and I think they will grow over the next few months.

I'm surprised you are belittling the criticisms. The point of the project is to increase capital efficiency on Solana. It is, after all, a decentralized finance project--not a social club. The reason why "earnestness" and engagement are valued is precisely because they are thought to attract attention and hence, capital. It's a bad choice to prioritize engagement over the provision of capital. I guarantee you that the participation in season 2 will decline. There was genuine excitement about this and a significant fraction of it has been squandered.

Solana based airdrops are simply not worth the effort. This is now the 5th project to do worthless $10 airdrops. Meanwhile, Ethereum based projects are well funded and has dropped me over $40k in airdrops in the last year. So, for now...unsubbing. Not wasting any more time on giving Solana projects my attention.

This does not mean I don't believe in Solana. I just won't be chasing airdrops.

My allocation was $10 and i had thousands of dollars in for months. I am actually very dissapointed with this airdrop. Influencers must have gotten a large skew of these tokens.. now not even avaliabe in US??? Got zero then actually..

The earnestness allocation made a lot of sense. Most projects airdrop a token and leave these community contributors with nothing. They actually did a bit of this already when they were Socean. Community members got paid SOL for making posters, video tutorials etc and even playing weekly gaming events. People are mad because they didn't think to contribute in this way and missed out. I'm feeling regret cos I missed out on this lol. I already knew the team was great but wasn't involved much in the community after Socean.

hello Seb I think you're confusing investing in a project with being a content producer. I already followed this channel well before the UPLINK vote, where I voted "Yes", for sure, but there the rules are clear, exchange a service for a payment, not here, @sanctum arrives at the moment of Airdrop, and makes the rule he wants, benefits whoever he wants and this is fine, no no, everything is not fine, it is called lack of transparency and loses credibility, at least for me, who invested money and time. My ASR from Jupiter was by far more than which is Token allocation, so I trust Jupiter, I stake JUP, and I will continue to support the project, there are intelligent people at the head, then comes these hitched projects that bring no value.
Let's see if it's a project that's going to go ahead or another flop 🤔
