Nothing like knowing you saved money by making your own lift kit. Great work and great videos

Impressive. I had a similar idea but no time to actually fabricate. I'm actually about to order a lift and my oldest daughter and I will be installing it. Now I have to go back and find you video on your wrap job because I'm too cheap to do my own automotive paint job. lol

Excellent job on the wrap.... way better than my first attempt.

Nice work.
You could have also just moved the rear leaf springs to above the axle instead of underneath.

Just put the springs on top of the Axle because that's what I did and it works find. but I installed heavy leaf springs 5 leaf DS 2000 35 mile hour less swaying.

Great job I did the same thing here on mine, I did 1 1/8 inch longer shackles and used the stock shock mounting holes and it rides great . .however I probably would suggest using his shock extender bracket due to how a shock works. .me using the stock hole with a 1 inch lift could make the shock stop in a upward motion from large movement but I live in hilly rough terrain and I haven't noticed anything odd with doing this! looks like I gained about 1 inch ride height, glad I did it and thanks to you! 🤠 went to Lowes and got steel plate 1/4 inch thick for shackles. .it was 16 bucks 👌

Very cool. I too have an ole Club Car DS, mine is an 85.
Did same on front & I moved my leaf spring on top of the axle which was a cheap kit. Works well.
Hey nice shop & lift!

I have a different cart but helped me out with the views and description from underneath. Adapt, improvise, overcome, I like your style.

Thanks! Did the same on my rear to make 12s fit, but they didn't rub on the front. Appreciate the video! 96 DS cc.

Excellent explanation, why spend $1200 in parts and then labor if you can do it yourself, Great Job Brother👏👏👏

Very creative. Experience and hints from other YOUTUBERS, add 3 leaf springs and ditch the rear shocks.

Thanks Jeff. I’m looking for a decent price golf cart back up here in metro Detroit and all I keep finding are pimped out ones for like $6k+

If you just put the leaf spring on top of the axle in the back your back lift would be easy.
