The S7 is faster but I will still choose the XZ. It is more durable, long lasting. The XZ looks like a phone of mature while the Samsung is like a child's play thing. Samsung user here.

There is a dedicated performance mode in Xperia XZ as well.
Go to Battery in setting then click stamina levels then can select 3 different modes

Wow, Samsung really nailed it with the S7E's Nougat update. First two apps were significantly slower to open on S7E but this is probably because of the fact that it is still on BETA software unlike XZ... And other than that it easily managed to beat XZ and the same goes for the multi-tasking test. So really, I have to say, well done Samsung!

Ever since 2014 when Sony released a superior flagship (Z2/Z3) to the contemporary SGS5, they have been playing catch-up. With the X series they essentially withdrew from this competition. However, they realised small profits for the first time in years even though their sales volume plummeted. How? The only significant expense that could have been cut is R&D. And their phones really start to show this. Their phones have been minor, marginal updates to the outgoing models ever since 2014, maybe except Z5P's display. In theory I am a Sony fan but enough is enough. These new phones do not provide any substantial improvement over the veterans Z2 and Z3 and cannot compete on even terms with the flagships or 'flagship killers' of late.

Well... 11:11 on the Sony did you leave it on Balanced-mode or Performance-mode when you turned on your Stamina Mode. (But that only happens when Stamina Mode kicks in)... I know they took out White-Listing apps because of Google's Privacy Policy. Man, really liked that feature. You could leave your dating service apps running when the screen is off.

The Samsung S7 Edge I agree when people said that is the best android smartphone in 2016 for me in one aspect only the amoled display period. In terms of quality of sound with the headphones Sony still do the best of the best android Smartphones for several years and dominate this technology with the Res-Audio period that ones mentioned in the videos. I am a fan of Sony I still use my old Xperia Z for six years and at mean I have S7 Edge and I liked both. I don't like when people critises to much the Sony most people never had a Sony devices in their live they don't no the real truth beyond inside the Sony devices period.
