Join us for a tour of and discussion about Earth's companion, the Moon. During the tour, your host Kevin Mace will show live views of the Moon and its many features visible through our 16" telescope at the Frank N. Bash Visitors Center located at McDonald Observatory.

This is the second in a series of upcoming Live Moon Tours, and we are very excited to share this program with you.

Moderators in the live chat will be taking questions, and Kevin will take a few of them near the end of the program.

Can't make the live stream? This event will be recorded and remain on our channel.

McDonald Observatory is an astronomical research facility located in far west Texas, and is part of the University of Texas at Austin.

This is wonderful! I like your personal story from 1983 (with cat and houseplants) and the ability to change saturation of the live image. I’m so grateful to you and to Star Date, keep up the great work!
