DON'T TURN YOUR SHOULDERS in the Golf Swing?! (The Shocking Truth)

Показать описание
How do the shoulders really work in the golf swing? "Don't Turn Your Shoulders in the Golf Swing" is common golf swing advice on YouTube, but you need to know that the shoulder turn is an important part of the golf swing and it gets your golf swing working correctly. When you learn how to turn your shoulders like in this golf tip, you will see your ball striking improve tremendously.
Anatomically speaking the shoulders don’t “turn” – “turn” is just a term golf instructors use to explain how the shoulders work because it’s easier for golfers to understand. One of the main functions of the shoulders is to “turn”. Turning creates power and gives you more distance with less effort.
Another function that helps the shoulders move correctly is “tilt”. You need to tilt in the golf swing if you want to hit the ball solidly. A swing without tilt would be a baseball player – you’d never be able to hit the ball off the ground!
If we were to imagine that you “don’t turn your shoulders” in the golf swing, we would have to eliminate a critical piece necessary to play great golf. Let’s say I remove the “turn”…now what am I left with to swing? If you remove the “turn” you would only be left with “tilt” – and tilt alone cannot make a powerful and repeatable golf swing.
Sure, tilt is important, but it is not everything…the golf swing is made of parts that when put together create the whole. This is why you can’t do ALL TURN and NO TILT, or ALL TILT and NO TURN. You need to combine TURN and TILT to play the best golf of your life.
In this video you’ll see why you need to turn your shoulders in the golf swing, and how NOT turning them can be very damaging to your golf game.

Whether you are a seasoned golfing veteran looking for a quick swing tune-up after an on-course emergency, or a beginner just looking to get the most out of your golfing experience, I am here to help you achieve your golfing goals.
My mission as your swing doctor is simple, to help you maximize your enjoyment in game of golf. Because, let’s face it, golf is a hard game.
My philosophy is wholly based on the student having a fun, meaningful experience in a frustrating and complicated game where potential lifelong golfers either quit because it is too difficult or that they experience some form of swing-related pain or discomfort. I mitigate these problems by focusing entirely on the student’s needs and goals while teaching a golf swing method that ultimately takes stress off of the common pain areas of the swing.
