An e-bike let’s you control the intensity of the ride. However, power management is an issue. Longer rides require more rider participation. But, you can push yourself to the limit as long as you save enough batteries to get home.

I agree man - I got the regular Roadster V2 and I use is all the time instead of driving my vehicles. Anything that can reduce the number of cars out there and the hassles of parking etc is good in my opinion. And for me personally, having the e-bike got me out of the house and I ended up buying a all-road gravel bike which I'm now riding as much as possible. I still use the e-bike for errands and such (has a cargo basket) but I like riding the all-road on group rides with the local bike community which I don't think I would have been introduced to otherwise. The new Gravel version looks sweet. I like the mods you have done.

I agree with what you're saying about e-bikes. My go to has been single speed bikes but this year I got a 3-speed internal hub geared bike and on days when it's very windy or if I'm tired the gears are so nice to have, even if its just 3 of them.

What gear ratio are you using? I have a cross bike with gates and am looking at ratios. I cruise at 15-16 spin out about 20.

I put a 12" steering wheel on my gravel bike. It gets lots of stares, but I made it old school 😂
