Will you be discussing the different features for different tiers and what they can do for better hearing aid performance and customization?

Excellent presentation. I have had an audiogram about 8 weeks ago. The ENT confirmed the need for hearing aids. I have completed a detailed questionnaire and I already have multiple questions for my appointment next week. I think I can make a good decision. I’m unusually anxious anyway so I am looking for a provider that will take time to help me with the process .

Great vid
A quick question, i used hearing aids for 7 years, and 5 months ago i changed them, and my tinnitus got super louder with the new hearing aids.
Since i returned to use my old hearing aids, my tinnitus is decreasing in volume again.
Any idea about what happened to me?
Thank You

Good info. I have a bone anchored hearing aid for single sided deafness but unfortunately ended up with Menieres disease in the other ear. How much can I trust a hearing test when my hearing fluctuates? How much does a hearing test cost? How do audiologist get on the Best practices list?

Why do audiograms only go down to 250Hz when most industrial exposure noise contains high linear decibel levels at well below 250Hz?

That’s not how things worked out for me. I was kinda rushed through my exam and fitted with a 128 channel over the ear type hearing aid.Granted, I knew that I had hearing issues but my medical history wasn’t really discussed I had a compound jaw fracture in 1979 which led to many issues. I never got hearing loss issues addressed until now. That being said I do hear a great deal more than before however it’s a little chaotic some lite background sounds are often very loud and dominant. I’m just not sure at this point planning on giving this a try for a couple of months and maybe I’ll get a better understanding of things.
