What program opens it because when I try to open it, it says unknown file type no program associated with it

Can you help me, when I try to open genymotion at the end it says the "genymotion" file has no know programs associated with it.

After chmod +x Im hitting enter and I get this error message****chmod: missing operand after ‘+x’**** Was wondering if you could tell me what I need to do to clear this so I can start using Genymotion. I know this video is about a year old, unless there is something newer I should be using. Thank you for your time.

Hello, thank you it really helped me except... i can't run the "genymotion" executable file in the genymotion folder. Although i have ticked to consider it as an executable file :x Can anyone help ?
