1. how much proficiency in c++ is needed to be able to work well on arm development?
2. If there is, what is the major difference between learning arm development with only a bare ARM microcontroller and with the aid of development boards (e.g., RPi, Arduino, etc)?

Nice video. Everything was going great until I opened the linux terminal and typed: "tar vfx The linux terminal ran through a whole bunch of lines. At the end of every other one, it said: "Cannot utime: Operation not permitted". Do you know why this happened? Is it because the download I used wasn't exactly the same as the one you used? Seems unlikely.

Hello. I am truly thankful you made this video. Im just upset, I've been trying so many solutions but still havent gotten through this error.

Ubuntu, and other linux distros that I have tried (kali linux, older ubuntu versions, etc.) always say "the specified network name is no longer available." And the line terminates. I am stuck. Please, I need ur help.

Why don't you use GNU Arm Embedded Toolchain for windows instead of linux? I am trying to do that with VSC but I have many issues. Anyways great video :)
