Very helpful video; thank you for posting. It raises a question though: Is having a “hole” in the function (which defines a limit, right?), mean that it is continuous? Or discontinuous? I presume that having a “jump” (no limit?) is discontinuous? Darn interesting!!

But...what is the concept? Is it just a technique? A tool? I see many examples of how to determine the value of the limit....but what does it mean? and why? I hear that this concept is important in calculus. Why is that? No one ever seems to articulate it. Thank you Mr Barnes.
