Man, I just found your channel, and I just want to pay a compliment where it’s due. You are a fantastic orator!

I know you probably wrote a script before you recorded this video, but I admire the way you’ve delivered the content. You’re much better at it than me, even if I’m one of those born-an-English-major types of guys. I think I can write much better than I can orate because I’ve learned from my social interactions that I’m not very good at talking so that I’m always worried that I might be coming off some other way than I intended.

Anyway, you seem to be very good at both writing and orating, and I wanted to give you that compliment. God knows, if I were better at speaking, I’d take to YouTube as well—this is actually the account I made for that.

Imma be honest with you, chief. I don't write, but i've watched a lot of your videos and I loved this one as well :D
I'm trying to internalize more optimistic mindsets when it comes to improving at the skills i wanna acquire, and in that process, i have been playing around with similar ideas to what you express here
A good idea i heard not too long ago was something like "today's output is not the result of today's work, it's the result of all the previous work you've done" (Something along those lines). Which can be said about most things, really. It's just easy to forget. And thinking about practice as an opportunity you give yourself to get better at things as you go is another neat way to look at it.

If i may, Andrew. I have an unrelated question: Is there a line you've written that you're proud of? I saw an old (?) short video going around once of someone asking that question and i'd like to know if you've ever thought about something like this. Again, i don't write but it'd be nice if every writer has at least one line they're really proud of, but idk if that's something you actually think about, even if it has happened.

I think the main problem is the anxiety to publish as quick as all of the other competitive writers are and then worrying that you won’t have enough money to keep producing books if they’re not well loved enough to make a proper investment return
