Please, no mention of elevated NT-proBNP for a renal tumor. There is an under-reported connection between BNP and cancer.

I developed postpartum hypertension a fee days after giving birth. I always had super low bp. It was causing chest and back pain so I went to ER. Troponin was normal Probnp NT was 267! Doctor never talked to me about it or followed up with me. I did my own research and discovered it was a dangerous level and that was two years ago

My Mother got admitted in hospital due to brain hammrage and rightside weakness, Dr found Nt-ProBNP2 was 3500,

she got treated with eplerenone, because of some antibiotics her serum creatinine went to 2.3,

after 1 month her nt-proBNP2 is 450, so it travelled from 3500, 900 then 700 and lastly found that to be 450.

She had a recurrent UTI and was also treated for phenomenia, now the cretenine is 1.2 and ntproBPP2 is 450 and potassium is 3.8

Her issue: High BP and High Diabatic

Her medecines are:

Levetiracetam
Eplerenone 25 mg once daily
Cilnidipine 10 mg twice daily
LANTUS Thrice as per the need

This was so helpful. My dad's level yesterday was 5, 000. The hospital wanted him to stay but of course he won't. I'm hoping and praying that he will be ok. How high can these levels go?

I was diagnosed with heart failure in the ER this weekend with heart attack symptoms that was not a heart attack. my BNP was 1505. What is the most successful diet plan for heart failure? There are SO MANY contradicting diets on the internet and I want to start NOW. My referral appointment is in a few weeks.

Dr. Donovan is based in the UK and the BNP units of conversion in the USA is 100 Pg/ml is equal to 100 Ng/L which is a 1 to 1 ratio.

Seen in the ER with A.Fib BNP (NT-PROBNP) = 1, 752 pg/mL [Std. Range <300 pg/mL] (age 70, no edema). The ER physician said everything is normal except for the A.Fib HR 80-120. (Troponin T, High Sensitivity 17 ng/L [Std. Range <22 ng/L] -follow-up with Cardiology. So why is everything normal?

Thank you very much for this video. This helped me much. I had a BNP of 1046 and wonder if this could have been caused by an afib episode? I never had (known) heart problems before and went to the ER 3 days ago.

Hi Doctor, Could you please say that the 10.45 ml result is high for a 46-year-old person? Thank you!

Is the BNP a simple blood test that can be done by your regular doctor or do you have to go to a specialist?

Thank you for making this video. I just got my labs back and my BNP is 191. I have every system of heart disease but I just had a stress test on my heart and it was normal. I'm over weight and on oxygen since I had covid in June and I have asthma. I just over exerted myself over a 3 week period from moving houses. I really pushed it. Could I have done some damage and could my bnp be temporarily elevated?

Wow, Ty as I honestly believed that I was a semi fit & healthy 56 yr old yet this morning I opened my health portal to check on my blood work results and my NT PROBNP number from that analysis is 295 pg/mL. Shouldn't my Dr have called me?
