I think one of my favorite things about victor, other than how much he genuinely enjoys music, is how he recovers from "wrong" notes. Like at 8:57 he just takes that and works it into the performance like it was always meant to be there. He is an amazing example of how being a good musician isn't about not making mistakes, it's about allowing yourself to build something out of them.

I love it when Victor does those almost "banjoesque" runs on his bass. I guess with all those years of playing Bela Fleck, a lil' banjo must've rubbed off a bit ;)
