The Return to Mystic of the Charles W Morgan

The return of the Charles W. Morgan caught us totally by surprise. Though I had seen the ship at Mystic Seaport, it was grounded in sand in the hopes of preserving this last of the wooden whaling ships. But between my last viewing and the present day, some genius realized the only real way to preserve this ship was by restoring it to sailing condition, using the same methods and materials from the 1800's.
