Bleach has some of the craziest, most creative, and yet most bonkers powers and abilities ever - and that's part of the reason why we love it. But trying to decide on the series' ten most broken abilities of all time is a daunting and nearly impossible task...but I'm trying it anyway! This is a purely subjective, manga only list. Please let me know your lists in the comments - I'd love to see where we shared answers and where we didn't! The spectrum of power in Bleach is huge, so I'm expecting a lot of variation.

Man, I struggled with this. There are so many abilities I wanted to include and that I think deserve to be here. That's why I want to see your lists too! Let me know which abilities you think are the most broken in the series.

Aizen’s glasses is the most broken ability. It’s able to convince the reader that he’s a good guy up to the very end of the SS arc.

Great list as usual. This is a tough one because in essence you’re having to separate the abilities from the characters using them. For example, Aizen could most certainly defeat Baraggan with Kyoka Suigetsu in probably the exact same way Baraggan actually died (ie tricking him into activating Respira within himself.) However it would still be Baraggans’ own ability killing him, not Kyoka Suigetsu. Obviously Lille would take Baraggan in a fight as well but it ends up being a stalemate until the clock runs. It’s unknown whether X-axis makes him immune from aging and his shrift isn’t working if it’s being decayed so again you have to examine the actual abilities themselves and not the characters in question.

I wish the author could use my idea to redesign the Sternritter abilities and remake the TYBW arc. Because most of them are not broken. I wanted to make every one from 26 Sternritters more broken abilities than Kubo made.
A - Almighty - No Need Change

A - Antithesis - No Need Change

B - Balance - No Need Change

C - Compulsory - No Need Change

D - Deathdealing - No Need Change

E - Explode - No Need Change

F - Fear - No Need Change

G - Gravity - Gravity Manipulation

H - Heat - No Need Change, but add six more flame colors like rainbow color, each color has difference abilities. 1, Red Fire can burn time, 2, Orange Fire can burn dimension, 3, Yellow Fire can burn immortality, 4, Green Fire can automatic tracking at light speed, 5, Blue Fire can healing, 6, Indigo Fire can burn intangible things like light, shadow & gravity, 7, Violet Fire can nullify opponent's ability.

I - Immortality - Self-Immortality & Immortality Sharing to multi-teammates, even to millions people in a planet.

J - Jail - No Need Change

K - Knowledge - Biological & Non-Biological Creation. Any races once he seeing an opponent what race is and what weapon the opponent use, can instantly creating an army like Zombie, Devil, Titan, Angle, Dragon, Human, and make the same weapon and its ability same as opponent original.

L - Love - No Need Change

M - Miracle - No Need Change

N - Nullification - Nullify Any Abilities

O - Oxygen - Reshi Oxygen Field Increasing & Decreasing Manipulation, even can control the whole planet oxygen instantly to become vacuum state.

P - Power - No Need Change, but can punch a planet to ash level and powerful enough to punch through space-time and make space bending.

Q - Quantum - Quantum Manipulation

R - Reality - Rule & Nature of Law Changing, Manipulation.

S - Superstar - No Need Change

T - Time - Time Manipulation

U - Universe - Everything Inside Universe Creation & Manipulation, Creating Suns, Planets, Nebulas and Black Holes throw at an opponents.

V - Visionary - No Need Change

W - White - White Manipulation. Just like opposite to Ichibe's Black Manipulation.

X - X-Axis - No Need Change

Y - Yourself - No Need Change

Z - Zero - Zero Manipulation, Make an opponent's high damage to zero damage, strong defense to zero defense, and light speed to zero speed.

have to question your list MrTommo, number one should have been Ichigo's ability "Main Character". You simply can't win.

I wrote this and then afterwards looked at the comments and realized that 50 thousand people said the same damn thing. I just feel gross now.

The All-Mighty was insanely broken. When Aizen and Tsukishima help you in a fight, and it only helps for like a second, you know that's some broken ass shit.

Considering all the broken abilities in Bleach, making a top 10 must have been a challenge. I often thought Kubo had fun trying to out broken the next character he introduced.

If you think about it "Book of the end" would have been great as Aizen's Bankai - The ability not only to create an illusion in front of someone, but also in their past and to deceive reality itself.

Orihime's powers fluctuate so much because they are only as strong as she believes them to be, and her faith in her own powers fluctuates dramatically due to her low self confidence, counteracted only by her unwavering desire to help people. If she had the confirmation of Aizen or Yuha I believe she would have been god tier

Tsukishima's Book of the End was so strong it started a meme revolution


Anyone else remember when Tsukishima appeared at the end of Marineford to stop the war?
Oh yeah and when he appeared at the Tournament of Power to save Universe 7?
And of course we can never forget when he helped Naruto and Sasuke seal Kaguya

It would have been awesome to see Baragon, Stark, and Ulquiorra in the thousand year blood war arc against the sternritter.

Barragan's Respira ability reminds me of how itachi in naruto was so powerful that kishimoto had to kill him with a disease. Barragan was killed by his own ability. That ability was broken as all hell
