I started breeding guppies by mistake, I bought feeders as literal food in a non filtered aquarium for some firebelly newts, and they bred faster than they were eaten, so I started mixing in fancy guppies to spice up the colors.

Those suckered are like rabbits, I've probably made hundred of "new designs" and never thought of it that way, just thought "ooh! That one turned out pretty!"

Hooray and thank you! I finally got my first batch of guppy babies! They are so cute. (I am casually breeding them in the main tank, but did try moving the pregnant female, but she started to look too stressed so I moved her back).

A few methods XD just put a male with a female those things reproduce so fast but I love breeding them so much I started with 30 in my pond in the beginning of spring by next spring there had to at least be a 1000

I'm looking into breeding to use them as feeders for reptiles. Are the larger guppies as prolific of breeders as like glass guppies?

I keep accidentally breeding guppies, I keep realising that the fry were born too late. My most recent ones were Endler guppies, which I put in a net trap with giradinus metallicus black fry which I had bought with a pleco (That's a mouthful to say) And now I've got 3 1 week old guppies in a net most recently, which are doing well.

Everything I read says to remove the adults but for me it would be better to remove the fry and leave the adults in their tank. If I have a second tank set up can I remove the fry to the second tank?

I have 25 day old guppy fry and I put them in a spare two gallon tank for now with a heater and filter, I hope I can keep them healthy and alive

Just starting out and I baught 6 females 3 males in a 65L tank with 2 average sized plants with quite a bit of cover and 2 females died but now we have about 30+ guppies and I've had to buy a 180L tank but I'm wondering would it be a good idea to switch as there still seeming to breed more and more?

Hey, if I have 2 red guppies same colour, and they breed. Would I get back a batch of the same red or would I get different varieties of guppies like different colours and tails.
