Keep going! Check out the next lesson and practice what you’re learning:

Any object in motion has the property of kinetic energy. Simply put, kinetic energy is motion energy. Learn about how kinetic energy is quantified and which characteristics of an object affect how much kinetic energy it has.

What are the difference between kinetic energy and potential energy? I discovered that all animate objects possess kinetic energy, while all inanimate object exhibit potential energy. Kinetic energy can be transformed into a potential energy, but the reverse is not true. Additionally, potential energy remains constant, regardless of whether it is in motion or at rest. ~Guadalupe Guerra from Laredo, Texas c/s
