I love how Billy arrives and just literally takes over the whole show. He is comedy genuis. I doubt we will ever have someone of his calibre again. Ive laughed till my sides hurt at all his stand up shows. My only regret is that I never got to see Billy live.

Growing up in Scotland in the 80's I remember my dad letting me watch Billy Connolly for the first time. I must've been about 10. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Had the privilege of seeing Billy live and had to pick myself off the floor I laughed so hard. I also remember watching one of his shows and a joke triggered me - I literally couldn't sleep that night and was still laughing a day or so later. Truly a comic genius.

Billy connolly is the best story teller comedian in the world. I grew up listening to Billy on vinyl records on the old radiogramme we had. He is a brilliant man. He's also very humble and doesn't forget his roots.
