Mini 2 is more than enough for most folks. I fly mine in some of the harshest situations on a regular basis with great success. Lots of them around so getting really cheap of price and tons of parts to fix if needed.
I fly mine at well over 1500m above sea level and from +30C to -20C regularly.
Yes mini 3 is awesome, but more intimating to crash/loose for beginners with little or no budget to spare, where every dollar is important.

I think if you are not going in for the mini 3 pro due to budget you should get the mini 2 combo. You can't beat the mini 2 for value.

Funny that now you confirm what you already revealed 8 months ago, the Mini 3. When asked in April most Youtubers denied such a product but DJI wanted to fill the market with the Pro first. Smart strategy. Happy flying

Nice comparison but I’d respectfully disagree on 1 point. I’ve flown the mini 3 on both the pro xmitter and the rcn1 with my phone & a small tablet. I have “much” greater range with my phone.

Don't forget that the Mini 2 is still a great quality drone, and with people upgrading from the Mini 2 to a 3 or 3 pro, there will be some second hand/used "bargains" to be found in the new year, I got my Mini 2 second hand/used with 2 batteries and at the time still had 11 months DJI care refresh on it.
Sadly i don't have any device to watch my 4k videos on 😢

I'm impressed with the reduced noise. Is it largely related to propeller design? Or are the motors quieter? If propeller-design related, it'd be great if the Mini 2 could get the same redesigned props.

I love my mini 3 Pro drone. Not sure that I would spend for a Mini 3 without the sensors and some of the extra stuff that the Mini 3 Pro has. It's not that much of a price difference.

You say the resolution of the screen recorder is 720p but in my screen it is 960x540p. Not super great either but still much better than 720p. Is that correct with you? Don't you also have 960p?
