Hi guys. On this channel I will *always* keep it about the books, no matter the public perception of an author. If you feel that is a reason you can’t stick around the channel, that is 100% your choice and I respect that and wish you nothing but success and happiness in the future.

I first read the Harry Potter Series as an adult. My wife introduced me to them and we read them out loud each night for months instead of watching TV. I will always love Harry Potter.

These are by far my fav books ever. They literally saved my life. I was suicidal in 2007, and wanted to read the last one before I died. By the time the book came out, I was better and never attempted. I’m sure if it wasn’t for this I would have died

My son was 11 years old when this came out in the States. He was not a reader before this but became an avid reader after reading the first book upon my insistence. Every year when the next book came out he was still Harry's age (until Book 4). He then went on to the Young Jedi series, Goosebumps, Animorphs, and never stopped. He is now in his mid-30s and reading is still one of his favorite activities, particularly in the science fiction/fantasy genres. It only takes the right books to make a child a reader.

You missed my fav quote, "Don't pity the dead harry, pity the living and those around you."

I love the HP books. Despite the hate JK Rowling gets these days she's still a better writer than the HP film screenwriters

As someone born in the mid nineties I’ll always be a Harry Potter defender they’re great reads I’ve been through all of the at least 10 times and some more than double that.

About to start reading this series for the first time and I'm 39 years old. Can't wait.

The Harry Potter books were a big source of bonding between me and my daughters, both of whom became immersed in the series. My younger daughter even succeeded in dragging us to Universal Studios to visit all the Harry Potter stuff, so the series is a source of many wonderful memories. I enjoyed your conversion story, Mike, and I agree with you about the virtues of the books, which are a great combination of fantasy, mystery, and coming of age story.

This just makes me happy. Harry Potter doesn't get a lot of love these days, so thank you for making this video

This is my all time favourite series so I’m very biased, but I’ve never read a series that you can get lost in as much as Harry Potter. A Hogwarts Christmas or Halloween is the dream. It also helps the movies did an amazing job to help you visualize so much. Awesome video!

“No book is really worth reading at the age of ten which is not equally – and often far more – worth reading at the age of fifty and beyond.” ~ C.S. Lewis

This series will ❤️Always❤️ be a favorite of mine.🤓

Read the series as an adult and still love it. I remember reading the first book in one sitting because it was so much fun that I couldn't put it down. A good story is a good story no matter who the intended audience was.

This series is so important to me. I read the books in a dark time of my life and they helped me find the light. The characters are my friends and Hogwarts is my home. I read them every year and it’s always the highlight of my new year.

Rowling isn't the greatest writer out there, sure. But she's definitely solid. Dolores Umbrage is one of the greatest villains. A poor writer couldn't have developed that character like she did. The whole revisionist history going on with Harry Potter is ridiculous.

One of my greatest joys has been introducing these books to my nieces and kids. It’s been SO fun experiencing it again through their eyes.

I remember reading the series and wanting to hang out at the Wesley's. Such a wholesome home they had filled with food, friends, and good parental figures.

Harry Potter is worth the read and the watch. And worth many many rereads and rewatch

This was the series that got me into reading. I have yet to find anything that has grabbed me the way Harry Potter has. Thank you so much for featuring it on your channel.

I attribute Harry Potter to why I read adult fantasy today. It was a perfect intro for a young people at the time.
