Mark of the Beast: A Brief History

From barcodes to palm scanners, every generation has feared that new technologies could be the "Mark of the Beast" mentioned in the book of Revelation.

Fortunately as a Christian I don’t have to let mark of the beast paranoia stop me from getting a chip in my hand because as an American my paranoia of the government will make it a lot easier to say no already

My favorite mark of the beast conspiracy was the Monster Energy Drink logo. Folks were so convinced that the claw marks were actually 6's in some ancient Babylonian numerical system or something nuts like that. (Edit: It was Hebrew the conspiracy theorists were referring to. Sorry, 🎶it's been a while🎶)

This is why Hobby lobby is the most infuriating place to shop at when they're busy because they don't use barcodes they type everything in by hand.

Don't forget drivers licenses. I legit know someone that not only claimed that, they fought it in court. They took it so far that they actually served some jail time over it. That person still has no driver's license that I know of.
