Batman (also known as Batman: The Movie) is a 1966 American superhero film directed by Leslie H. Martinson. Based on the television series, and the first full-length theatrical adaptation of the DC Comics character of the same name, the film stars Adam West as Batman and Burt Ward as Robin. The film hit theaters two months after the last episode of the first season of the television series. The film includes most members of the original TV cast, with the exception of Julie Newmar, who played Catwoman in the first two seasons; for the movie, she was replaced by Lee Meriwether.

Shocking really. Joker, Robin, and Batman actors were great. They all were good. Penguin and Riddler was wonderful too. Great memories. When a kid that was sick played Batkid. In a fulfilled wish, Adam West and other Batman stars wrote him and encouraged him. Kids looked up to them too. Thanks. Enjoyable video.

I am a Black comic book creator and Adam West's Batman was a huge part of my life!!! My favorite episode is when The Joker made his own utility belt, although Frank Gorshin's Riddler was my favorite villain.

I watched the show in the 60's and my Momma said it was her best babysitter as me and my older brother sat transfixed during the whole show. I met Burt Ward and Adam West at a World of Wheels in the 70's. I shared with Adam West what my Mom's said and he smiled and said, "you tell your Momma Thank you from the Caped Crusader."
