James Brown is an original.  No one can duplicate him.  A national treasure!

This is my song I love the fact that he has so much emotion and pain in his voice

I never realized how great this song is until tonight at work, when it played over the in-house radio. Here I am, at home after work, listening to it again.
Good stuff.

Good ole fellow Carolina Country Boy. We all was raised listening to Mr. B and proud that he was from our little state.

I like this version a lot. It sounds simple with just the guitar, bass, and drums. Searing down to the soul.

I don't think today's music is bad, it is just different because it's audience has evolved. I'm 14 and I have grown to love these old songs and still like music of today.

Im Chinese American, whatever tf that means, but the first singers that ever entered into my brain and stamped it was Little Richard and James Brown... tea candles turned to electric light in an instant, one of my fondest and most memorable moments as a 10 year old.... and I've been a follower and fan of the culture ever since... my heroes have always been a cut above and I'm proud to say it and will never deny it.
