I think the only way I'd attempt to escape from Alcatraz is if I was sentenced to life without parole. Then I'd have nothing to lose. If I had to do 5-10 years or something like that I'd just tough it out.

I’ve visited the prison, and it was nothing short of amazing. There was a former prisoner there signing his newly published works. The wind around the island was terribly strong, but I could’ve stayed there for hours. I love visiting historical sites! There’s so much to learn from them all!

I went two years ago and the plants and animals were so interesting and cool. The history is really interesting especially about the people who weren’t prisoners who lived on the island.
