I love when these guys get together and let us listen in as they shoot the breeze and start seeds! I love hearing them muse about tomatoes and “BMOs”. Simply awesome.

I love it when you guys get together to do a video. Sowing seeds with your amazing friend and giving us useful information at the same time. Had a great time watching my two favorite guys on YouTube 😀😍

Thank you for the helpful videos and great advice. To help save money my family and I have started a small backyard garden. We're learning how to homecan, seed save, make compost, and preserve what we grow. Less than 2 years in our new home and we've completely transformed the backyard. We are beginner gardeners, growing and learning along the way. Recently I started a gardening channel to help encourage others to begin growing as well. No time better than now to learn self sufficiency.

So fun.. and inspiring. Love these sessions you do together and the spontaneous conversations that end up revealing tips and tricks and preferences and ideas that might not otherwise have sees the the light of day. Very enjoyable and definitely feels like we're hanging out in the garden with you. Thanks and cheers!

i think its adorable they snack from eachothers gardens. I remember doing that in my grandfathers garden and waddling off stuffing the car with goodies.

Those 4" epic 4 cells are exactly what I need. I'd prefer to buy local but Kevin just keeps putting out the perfect stuff. It's like he's in my head.

My seedlings are growing crazy! I love spring 🌱 So here's a thought.. it would be so cool if a group of the plant community on YouTube came together for a trip to go propogate, replant, and establish a piece of forestry somewhere in the world that has been otherwise compromised.. and I'm all in if you want to help me organize this 🌿

I love your channel Kevin. You're the first gardening channel I started watching years ago. It's so helpful because I'm growing in a small space and we have very similar climates and dirt (I've been struggling with compacted heavy dirt...took years to get it good enough for my fruit trees to thrive). I see so many channels starting cabbage peas and broccoli in March I'm like can't grow anything like that now it will bolt before may...all that has to be grown in fall and winter. This yr we cannot grow in the ground (religious reasons). I'm doing everything in containers and it looks amazing! Great advice and I love your homestead. So inspiring!

They say sunflowers don't do well transplanted, too, but I have done it multiple times. You just have to keep it watered until it no longer wilts during the heat of the day. I usually water them twice a day until they take.

I have also had sunflower stems break and fall in the wind, and saved them with a splint. There was still a piece of stem intact, use a splint, tape it on, water well each day until it heals.

That’s pretty funny, last year I grew Royal Carpet Alyssum and Dark Opal Basil around/in between my tomatoes. The alyssum stays low and the basil grows about as high as where I prune the leaves off the base of the tomatoes by the time they’re that tall. They all seemed to grow in perfect harmony and it gives a great full, tiered look full of color! I’ll be doing it again this year. Two of my neighbors have mentioned they’ve had problems with hornworms however I’ve yet to see one or it’s damage(I’m currently knocking on wood😅). Great video guys, thanks for sharing.

My first time gardening I did everything wrong. I still grew food. Now that I watch your videos my garden is doing so much better. Thank you

Between your three channels, and a few other gardeners on YouTube, I have gardening to watch every day of the week. Woo!

We tried Texas Wild cherry tomatoes last year and they amazed everyone who tried them. Subtle flavor profile. I watched my husband and friends talk tasting notes as if they were talking about a glass of wine.

I just got my beds built today. I have a few more to dig out but I appreciate all your videos on guiding me to where I am so far. Much love.

I love that garden table! I've been trying to explain to my husband what I wanted. I just showed him this video. Here's crossing all my fingers and toes he makes it before July when I start other seeds. 😅🤣😂

I love that you're planting Summer Savory! It's a staple herb here in Nova Scotia and grows very well (gardening zone 6B).
