Jon was really really good in season 1 hats off to em, but Thomas was still just the coolest Punisher with a bad ass charm. Mad Max Mel would be proud though I'm sure he was. All of em are bad asses including Dolph.

Thomas Jane was more like the punisher. More planned and thought out methods. He backed out of the second movie cause the script was trash and he loved the character too much to make what they handed him. On the other hand, Bernthals punisher is more of a brute with no real plan or tactics. Probably why he almost died every few episodes on the show. Still good though lol

The is way back? Try the 89' version. Lundgren was huge in frame & physique. Thomas Jane honestly, was always in shape & isn't unnatural, just exaggerated. 275 is grade A bench. Not juicy though.

Berthal's Punisher has no charm to him. It's less like he's The Punisher and more like Generic PTSD Soldier Man.

Thomas Jane is a lot better Punisher than John Bernthal. I don’t like the idea that they made Punisher a marine in the series, once again they overrated and exaggerated the “toughness” of the marine corps it ain’t that tough as they show in the movies, I’d understand if they’d make him a navy seal, ranger or delta force soldier that would make sense at least because these guys are real elite units but marines are just usual forces, maybe a little bit tougher than usual army infantry soldiers! But I never liked John Bernthal’s acting: dumb face expression, stupid voice and always yelling like an idiot! Thomas Jane did a lot better in this role, you could really feel the agony he was going through by watching him playing the Punisher (simple, realistic, no dumb face or stupid voice, and no exaggerations or not needed marine stories).
