I've had mine since delivery on July 24th. So far flawless. I upgraded from a watch 5 pro. Battery was not great for the first 5-6 days But over the last few days it's settled in and I'm definitely getting better battery. My watch 5 pro was the same when I got it so I knew the battery would get better. I may be jumping the gun after a week and a half but I could not be happier and look forward to updates. I'm a small woman with a 6-in wrist and it sits perfectly.. definitely more comfortable than they five pro.

I thought it looked a little weird when I first saw pictures. But I ordered it because I'm a heavy swimmer and 10ATM rating is more robust. Then I opened the box, and WOW! The thing looks shockingly good in the metal. The display, as Flossy Carter pointed out, buries the Apple Watch Ultra display, especially AOD.

Great review! I have the silver Ultra, and absolutely love it after 8 days now. Upgraded from a Classic 6, the Blood Pressure sensor is the biggest upgrade (succeeding to get a reading just about every single time, much quicker!) aside from just how awesome the whole package looks - screen is sharp, vivid and brilliant, and that frame is gorgeous. The silver ultra looks amazing with the white Trail band as well, which I got last week. It's truly a breeze to swap the bands over.

Great content. I've had my 7ultra since July 24th. And with power saving mode on, I'm averaging 102 hours, and with it off right now, I'm at 39 hrs with 50% left.

I've got the silver and I grabbed an orange trail band too. It's a beautiful watch and it feels so crisp after using my watch 4 since it's release. It's a bit bulky on my tiny wrist in this winter weather south of Melbourne under all the jumpers and jackets I'm wearing at the moment.
I took it for a 1 hour hike today with my garmin fenix 6x on my right arm linked to a wahoo chest strap to compare the heart rate monitors and distance tracking. For the first km the ultra was showing 30 to 50 bpm higher than the garmin/wahoo combination but all of a sudden it snapped into line and for the next 3 km's the ultra was reading 1 bpm higher at my 125 bpm pace. Occasionally the ultra lagged by a couple of seconds when my heart rate was dropping from 135 back to 125. Over a 5 km hike I'm definitely not worried about that. If I'm training for 10+ hours on the trail per week, few bpm wonder hear and there is not going to interpret my life.
Distance was within 10m after a 5 km hike.
I didn't buy it for workouts as I have garmin for that. I brought it for work so that I can talk hands fee on phone calls and so that I can control my media and read messages without having to take my phone out as I wear gloves all day.

the strap design, and a quick button i can sort of understand, but i don't see such a big issue for that. As for orange, when did apple copyright the color? orange is good especially for swimmers to be noticeable in water.

then you have people complain why they made it a square but with circle within, that they couldn't stick to one or the other. but i'm using it in person and it's grown on me. It got even better once i change the watch face to my own liking. I'm not gonna tell you others would like that design, but for myself i liked it. The rounded bezel is neat and not overdone, but some people may prefer something like the spigen bezel add on. But if they added that, i fear it will raise the bezel too much. I already encountered an issue typing too closely to the edges, so i can imagine it being even worse if you tried to stick on the spigen bezel for the aesthetic but later find out you are impeding typing for stuff close to the edges.

Having the touch bezel all the way around the outside is a bit silly. Samsung need to implement a half screen version on the lower half so you don't cover what you're scrolling through.

I am happy with the 5 pro.... quite right the same battery, i manage to get 4 days out of it, by switching off everything, but I am happy because still it counts steps, heart rate and my sleep....I switch on bluetoothe for few min every day so it sends the data to the

I might be one of the few that loves the design of the watch ultra. Seen it when it was showcased and preordered on the 10th and got it early. I use to love Apple and I never liked the Apple Watch Ultra but had the previous generations and gave my last Apple Watch to my daughter. I’m getting good battery life on mine and I love the bands that it came with.

I have been rocking the active 2 for almost 5 years, and it finally died Saturday. So, I decided to pull the trigger yesterday on the Ultra. Hopefully, I love it. It will be here on Wednesday

With trad-in the ultra was$ 350, the 7 was $ 80 .. Being older and active job, I have little interest in the athletic aspects of the ultra, when the 7 has so much similar. I'll save bulk, money and forego the regret of not tracking activity that would put me in ER. For a bigger battery, the 5 pro seems to be the solution . I mean, watches only do so much. I'm in US and the blood pressure monitoring wasn't ok'd by the FDA when the 4 series came out. ( if i recall correctly).

I have this watch for 8 days and the battery last 2 days and 5 hours with WIFI and LTE always out, 1 hours GPS each day, adaptive brightness on and all health features on. My Samsung watch Classic last with the same configuration 1 day and 19 hours..
